The cartoon is indeed brilliant and may help explain to the RP Fans why a number of folks who sympathize with their cause are not jumping on the bandwagon.

Is RP Frodo? At his age this is almost certainly his Last Hurrah, so maybe he does actually intend to toss the ring into the great volcanic stream. The bad news is he has quite a few more than one Gollum standing in his way to snatch it back.
