What bothers me most about the libertarian/anarchist bandwagon for Ron Paul is the waste of freedom money being spent toward his campaign.

Whether Paul wins the nomination or not... whether he wins the Presidency or not, that money will not be put to good use. And in the end, lib/anarchs will not have that money available for freedom or for their own use.

Where will the money go? What would it be used for? Lib/anarchs could use it for education... for blogs, papers, essays... for books (both reading and writing them)... for gulching/survival... for activism; instead it will end up in DC or in Texas, utterly wasted for freedom’s cause.

I can understand the young, idealistic non-lib/anarchs around the country following Ron Paul’s ‘pied piper’ appeal; it IS appealing, if you don’t know better. But there are a number of intelligent lib/anarchs around who do recognize the hype, and therefore should know to keep their money in their pockets.

(Besides, political persuasion is never a good method for proselytizing against politics!)
