Will the people of Wisconsin ever wake up to the living evil they've put in the USSA House of Representacrats for nearly thirty years? Yah, I know, I've ranted about James Sensenbrenner before, but really, who else is such a large and thoroughly deserving target? He's the führer behind the Real ID Act, remember, as well as HR 1528, better known as The Last Step to Sovietizing Amerika Bill
.
, which was quoted in yesterday's article Sensenbrenner finishing up tenure as Judiciary Committee chairman in Pennsylvania's Centre Daily Times. Ugh! Do we have to?Look at what my style has gotten enacted into law,
he [Senselessbrenner] said ...
Well, that article makes it easier for us to examine his style, so let's play along for a bit. [H]e's obdurate, nasty and frequently a bully,
says a think tank scholar ... And a fellow Housecrat said, He is pretty tyrannical ...
Senselessbrenner himself, in keeping with the führer theme we've got going, had this to say: I'll retire when either the voters of my district think I have outlived my usefulness or I don't think I can make a significant contribution
.
Good phrasing, Senselessbrenner! Significant
is so vague as to be meaningless as a measure of value. And while I can't argue with him that his contributions haven't been significant, I and any other liberty-loving individual would surely protest that they are not positive contributions.
I don't normally endorse such coercive measures, but I will admit to a thrill of subversive delight when I saw this image on the front page of today's issue of the Centre Daily (a small version of the one accompanying this story):

Please, Wisconsin District 5 voters — the rest of the country is beseeching you. Please put this tyrannical asshat out of our misery!
[Aside the first: I tried to access the THOMAS system to check on the status of Senselessbrenner's latest legislative outrage, but it's been down the entire time I've been composing this piece. Casting about for another source, I came across Plogress, which is a nifty resource for keeping up with what the congresscrats are doing. A search on Senselessbrenner's page, and of the entire site, found nothing on HR 1528.]
[Aside the second: Before you take electrons to fingertips to inform me that I've made a typographical error in my title, let me assure you I have not. Heh.]
